SheerWeave shades diffuse light, reduce glare and help control solar heat gain. The shading coefficients (below) represent the percentage of solar heat gain that is transmitted to the interior through the glass and shading system.

- Solar Transmittance (TS): Is a measure of the amount of solar heat that passes through the fabric to the interior.
- Solar Absorptance (AS): Is a measure of the amount of solar energy that is absorbed by the fabric.
- Solar Reflectance (RS): Is a measure of the amount of solar energy that is reflected by the fabric.
- Visual Transmittance (TV): Measures the extent a specific color reduces interior glare.
Tip: Darker Colors provide the best glare reduction, the best view out but don't offer much privacy and allow the most solar heat gain. Lighter colors do the exact opposite at the expense of the view out.
These Sheerweave materials are full basket weaves and were designed for applications which require a more opaque and non-directional fabric. Style 2360 has a slightly more open weave (10% Openness Factor - UV Blockage 90%), to provide increased outward visibility.

NOTE: Different upgrades require different mounting depths. Please review the information below the "Specs" tab to make sure you meet the minimum mounting requirements for both inside and outside mounts.
The standard spring control relies on the tried-and-true reliability of the classic Spring Roller shade. Completely cordless, you simply grasp the shade by its bottom hem and pull it down to whatever length you want. A gentle tug releases the spring's lock and allows the shade to be gently raised.

The cord loop is available as a stainless steel beaded chain or a nylon beaded cord. The factory will color coordinate the cord loop color to the fabric unless an external hem bar and/or fascia are ordered, in which case the cord loop will color coordinate with the fascia color.

Made of extruded aluminum (3-3/4" height by 4" depth) and featuring a curved face with a fabric insert. Hardware and external hembar (if ordered) matches cassette color. The shade is raised and lowered by a beaded cord (above) and features an integrated reverse roll stop.
Available Colors:
(from left to right) Aluminum, Black, Bronze, Vanilla and White

Extruded aluminum panel that hides the clutch and the tube available with surcharge. 3" or 4" fascia is used based on size of shade. Hardware and external hembar (if ordered) will match the fascia color unless otherwise specified. Fascia brackets include end caps.
Available Colors:
(from left to right) Aluminum, Black, Bronze, Vanilla and White

Fabric can be applied to the fascia to provide a matching, finished look. Fabric is attached with a solid piece of double sided tape to front and bottom side of fascia. The factory will color coordinate the hardware and cord loop to the fabric unless you order an external hem bar, in which case the hardware and cord loop will be coordinated to the hem bar.

Our roller shades come standard with a flat metal hembar sewn into bottom of the fabric. External hem bars are available upon request at no charge. Hardware and cord loop will be color coordinated to the hem bar unless you order a fascia (see above).
Available Colors:
(from left to right) Aluminum, Black, Bronze, Vanilla and White

The fabric on a standard roller shade rolls off the back of the roll towards the window. With reverse roll the fabric rolls off the front of the shade concealing the roller.
NOT available with Fascias or the Cassette Hardware.
- Minimum Width Spring Roller: 19.5"
- Minimum Width Clutch Hardware: 12"
- Minimum Width Cassette Hardware: 12"
- Maximum Width: 94"
- Minimum Length: 12"
- Maximum Length: 84"
Inside Mount
The shade is made for the brackets to be mounted inside the window casing.
The factory will take the appropriate deductions (above) to ensure that the
shade doesn't rub against the brackets.
Mounting Depth Requirements
Measure from the front of the opening to the window or nearest obstruction -
this is your mounting depth. You will either have just enough depth to mount
the brackets (shallow mount) or you will have enough depth to install the
shade fully recessed (flush mount) so that no part of it sticks out from the opening.
Shallow Mount
- Spring Control: 1"
- Continuous Cord Loop (clutch): 1-1/4"
- Cassette System: 1-3/4"
Flush Mount (Fully Recessed)
- Spring Control: 3"
- Continuous Cord Loop (clutch): 3"
- Cassette System: 4"
Outside Mount
Outside Mounted shades may have up to a 1-1/4 deduction from the width of the fabric depending on the type of hardware ordered.
It is recommended that you add 1-1/2" to 2" of overlap on each side for ultimate light and privacy control.
Mounting Surface Area Required:
- Spring Roller: 1/2"
- Standard Cord Loop: 1/2"
- Cassette System: 3/4"
Fabric Deductions
- Fabric and tube are the same width.
- Spring Roller: 5/8" each side.
- Clutch Hardware: 7/8" chain side - 1/2" opposite side = 1-1/4".
Light Gaps
As a result of the factory deductions (above) made to ensure
that the shade does not rub against the hardware or installation brackets,
there are light gaps on each side of the shade. If the light gaps (detailed below)
allow in too much light you may want to consider an outside mount.
- Shades using the Spring Roller lift system will have a 1/2" light gap on each side on inside mount shades.
- Shades using the Clutch Lift System will have a 5/8" light gap on each side on inside mount shades
Stack Height:
Roller Shades Stack Height: The stack height varies based on the size of
the roller shade and fabric thickness. The normal estimation is anywhere
from 2-5 inches.
Privacy
Solar Shades are not sold as privacy shades. While some degree of
daytime privacy is possible particularly with light colors - these are not
recommended for nighttime privacy. The view out during the day equals the
view in at night.

Cleaning & Care
Sheerweave fabrics are easy to maintain by an occasional vacuuming with a soft brush attachment or washing with mild soap. Soak a sponge or damp cloth with the soapy solution and gently wipe or blot the stain from the fabric. Allow the shade to air dry completely before raising.
